Uue aasta pühitsus
Kylliki Neuman, Ring of Fire |
Iga uue aasta algus on nagu pühitsusrituaal uude ellu. Me
*Kirjutage paberilipikutele, igale üks asi/tegevus, mida
iseloomustaks teie visiooni ideaalsest uuest aastast.

Initiation into the New Year
Every beginning of the new year
is like intiation into new life. We leave the old behind, hoping to start our
lives anew and fresh.
Some of us create new year’s
resolutions, some of us take with gratitude an inventory of the year that
passed.
Often, when we have lived a week
or two into the new year, old patterns seem to run smoothly – resolution and
intentions are forgotten, even gratitude has gone hiding.
Storyteller Michael Meade says:
"The
New Year is not something before us, it is something hidden within us trying to
find the light. Don't wait for the right gift to be given to you. Look inside
instead and find the Holy message trying to be opened."
How to
nurture that is “hidden within us trying to find the light”?
It seems
that the first step would be to accept all of yourself as you are, today…here
and now.
And then
the questions:
What has
served me well in the past, yet has become a burden now?
Which
ones would I like to let go, which ones I still need?
How do I
imagine my life enfolding this year?
What do I
really want to create this year?
Which
qualities would I like to embody more fully this year?
Write the answers down, meditate on qualities,
create a collage for your vision – those are few ways to support bringing
positive changes into your life.
After
all, Chinese new year starts in February, there is plenty of time for rituals.
I believe in all that has
never yet been spoken.
I want to free what waits
within me
so that
what no one has dared to
wish for
may for once spring clear
without my contriving.
